Our client, an Established Global Shipping Multinational, is seeking a Group Accountant to join their regional finance team. This is a high-visibility role supporting group consolidation, reporting, and compliance across multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidation cycles
- Perform intercompany eliminations and reconciliations
- Review financial submissions across regional entities
- Prepare management reports to support business performance insights
- Drive the Group budgeting process and variance analysis
- Ensure accuracy and consistency across financial data submissions
- Prepare full sets of financial statements, including disclosures
- Handle consolidated financial statements in accordance with SFRS / IFRS
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
- Manage year-end audit processes and liaise with external auditors
- Prepare audit schedules and resolve technical accounting matters
- Oversee corporate tax, transfer pricing, and regulatory compliance
- Support tax filings, queries, and audits
- Review audited financial statements and accounting entries
- Manage audit processes, banking requirements, and tax matters
- Coordinate with external stakeholders on compliance and reporting
- Interpret and implement new accounting standards
- Maintain and enhance SOPs for Group Accounting operations
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
- 58 years of relevant experience (Big 4 / mid-tier audit preferred)
- Strong experience in group consolidation and financial reporting
- Solid knowledge of SFRS / IFRS
- Exposure to multi-entity / regional reporting environments
- ACCA / CA Singapore qualification preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is advantageous
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across regional teams
