Key Responsibilities:
1. On-site Charter Operations Oversight
- Lead and oversee all ground handling activities for charter flights at the airport.
- Ensure smooth execution of aircraft arrival, turnaround, and departure in accordance with schedule.
- Act as the primary on-site coordinator during charter operations.
2. Coordination & Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with airlines, ground handling agents, airport authorities, and vendors to ensure seamless operations.
- Coordinate closely with internal teams (operations, customer service, transport) for end-to-end service delivery.
- Serve as the main point of contact for any operational issues on-site.
3. Operational Monitoring & Compliance
- Monitor ground operations to ensure compliance with aviation regulations, safety standards, and company SOPs.
- Ensure all documentation (flight manifests, permits, handling reports) is accurate and completed timely.
- Conduct pre-operation briefings and post-operation reviews.
4. Issue Resolution & Contingency Handling
- Proactively identify and resolve operational issues such as delays, equipment failure, or manpower shortages.
- Implement contingency plans to minimize disruption to charter schedules.
- Provide real-time updates to stakeholders on operational status.
5. Vendor & Performance Management
- Supervise ground handling agents and service providers to ensure service quality meets agreed standards.
- Evaluate vendor performance and recommend improvements where necessary.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in air freight / aviation / ground operations.
- Strong knowledge of airport ground handling processes and charter operations.
- Ability to work on-site, including irregular hours and night shifts.
- Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiar with aviation regulations and safety standards.
