[What the role is]
The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service (GRIT@Gov) aims to provide fresh graduates with opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can strengthen their employability to take up full time roles in the sector.
[What you will be working on]
- To administer the Residential Property Act to regulate foreign ownership of restricted residential property in Singapore
- Main role involves operational aspects pertaining to the day to day running and operations of the Land Dealings Approval Unit, including:
- Processing, managing and evaluating cases
- Responding to enquiries from members of the public and foreign persons
- Providing support for projects
- To conduct enforcement work to ensure compliance with legislation and conditions
- Carry out enforcement checks on individuals/entities
- Conduct data analysis to detect breaches
- Enhancement of LDAU's operations system
- Manage and enhance LDAU's enforcement portal
