[What the role is]

The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service (GRIT@Gov) aims to provide fresh graduates with opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can strengthen their employability to take up full time roles in the sector.

[What you will be working on]

  • To administer the Residential Property Act to regulate foreign ownership of restricted residential property in Singapore
  • Main role involves operational aspects pertaining to the day to day running and operations of the Land Dealings Approval Unit, including:
  • Processing, managing and evaluating cases
  • Responding to enquiries from members of the public and foreign persons
  • Providing support for projects
  • To conduct enforcement work to ensure compliance with legislation and conditions
  • Carry out enforcement checks on individuals/entities
  • Conduct data analysis to detect breaches
  • Enhancement of LDAU's operations system
  • Manage and enhance LDAU's enforcement portal
