We are partnering with a leading regional telecommunications provider that operates critical infrastructure and serves millions of users across the region. As part of their continued investment in cybersecurity and resilience, they are looking to hire a GRC Manager - Cybersecurity, to strengthen their risk, governance, and security engineering capabilities.
This is a high-impact role working closely with business and technology leaders to ensure cyber risks are effectively managed while maintaining operational performance across a complex, large-scale environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to business and technical stakeholders, translating cyber risks into clear business impact
- Drive end-to-end lifecycle of security controls, including design, implementation, and governance
- Lead threat modelling and cyber risk assessments across systems, infrastructure, and new initiatives
- Develop and oversee risk remediation strategies and compliance alignment with regulatory frameworks
- Manage and support audit and assessment processes, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to security standards
Key Requirements
- 8–10 years of cybersecurity or IT risk experience, within telecommunications or large-scale, high-availability environments, with strong understanding of service resilience, SLAs, and network risk trade-offs
- Proven experience in cyber risk management, threat modelling, vulnerability assessments, and security control implementation, including exposure to penetration testing and security event analysis
- Strong familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, PDPA, PCI-DSS, and telecommunications regulatory standards (e.g., IMDA/CSA frameworks)
- Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISSP, SSCP, or CCAK, along with exposure to ISO standards (ISO 27001, ISO 20000, ISO 22301)
- Hands-on experience working within cloud and/or critical infrastructure environments, with the ability to balance security, compliance, and operational performance in complex systems
