A PURPOSE
The Grant & Funding Advisory is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing government and private-sector grants, incentives, and funding opportunities that support the organisation's innovation, digital transformation, and business growth initiatives.
The role actively monitors funding opportunities from public agencies (e.g., Enterprise Singapore, IMDA, EDB, NRF, GovTech) as well as private foundations, technology partners, and industry bodies, and develops proposals to secure funding for both:
. Internal strategic initiatives (AI platforms, product development, innovation projects)
. External client projects that may qualify for government grants or co-funding schemes
The position works closely with internal departments including Sales, Product, Finance, and Delivery teams to structure projects in a way that maximises eligibility for grants and incentives while ensuring compliance with funding requirements.
This role supports the company's strategic objective of accelerating innovation adoption, improving project ROI, and enabling clients to leverage government support for digital transformation initiatives
B KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Grant Opportunity Identification
Continuously monitor and track available grants, incentives, and funding programs from Singapore government agencies and international funding bodies.
Identify relevant schemes such as:
. Enterprise Development Grant (EDG)
. Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG)
. IMDA Digital Transformation initiatives
. AI and technology innovation grants
. Workforce transformation grants
. identify private-sector funding opportunities from technology vendors, venture programs, innovation funds, and foundations.
. Maintain an internal grant opportunity register and tracking database.
2. Proposal Development & Submission
. Prepare and submit grant applications including business cases, project proposals, financial projections, and funding justification.
. Work with internal teams to gather the required documentation, including:
. Project scope and deliverables
. Technology architecture and innovation components
. Cost breakdowns and project budgets
. Expected business and economic impact
. Ensure all submissions meet the eligibility criteria, documentation
requirements, and submission
3. Client Grant Advisory
. Support Sales and Pre-Sales with product positioning, customer pitches, tender submissions, and commercial structuring.
. Provide training and enablement to Sales, Delivery, and internal teams on new and updated service offerings.
. Partner with Marketing to support campaign development, service launch communications, and customer messaging.
4. Grant Compliance & Administration
. Develop and maintain profitability models for the full portfolio, ensuring sustainable margins.
. Forecast consumption and revenue for CSP subscriptions and recurring managed services.
. Monitor product performance, utilisation, customer adoption, and churn recommend improvements or retirement decisions.
. Track and manage the lifecycle of approved grants including claim submissions, milestone reporting, and compliance documentation.
. Ensure adherence to grant conditions, audit requirements, and reporting obligations
. Coordinate with Finance to ensure proper financial documentation and cost allocation for grant claims.
. Maintain records for audit and regulatory compliance.
5. Stakeholder Engagement
. Build relationships with government agencies, industry bodies, and funding organisations.
. Participate in industry briefings, innovation forums, and grant information sessions.
. Act as the organisation's internal subject matter expert on grants and funding programs.
6. Reporting & Insights
. Provide regular reports to management on:
. Available funding opportunities
. Submitted and approved grant applications
. Funding secured and utilisation progress. Track funding success metrics and identify opportunities to increase grant utilisation across the organisation.
C REQUIREMENTS
Education & Certifications
. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Public Policy, Economics, Marketing, or related field.
Experience
. Minimum 3-6 years of experience in grant management, government funding programs, or innovation support roles.
. Experience working with Singapore government grant schemes such as Enterprise Singapore, IMDA, EDB, or similar agencies is highly desirable.
. Experience in technology, innovation, consulting, or system integration environments is an advantage.
