RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute processes related to research grants budget such as expenditures, hirings, billings, visitors, etc.
- Maintain transparency and accountability in all spending activities and ensure compliance with funder and institutional requirements & guidelines.
- Active monitoring, reconcile & deliver accurate and timely periodic reporting/ad-hoc requests on grant requisitions/utilizations to the project funders.
- Proactively engage with partnering institutions to obtain and reconcile utilization and expenditure reports to achieve full visibility and accountability on spending reports.
- Ensure timely and proper record-keeping and lead the preparation of all mandatory audit materials.
- Prepare utilization & spending plans for effective financial year budget planning & annual financial closure activities for research grants.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS- Minimum diploma with relevant working experiences or Bachelor degree.
- Strong ability to manage budgets, analyze expenditures, and prepare accurate financial reports.
- Skilled in planning and executing tasks in collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrates initiative in driving tasks to completion without close supervision.
- Capable of resolving issues and adapting to changing priorities.
- Proficient in maintaining accurate financial records and reconciling grant expenditures.
- Strong command of Microsoft 365 Office tools, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of SAP & its reporting is preferred.
- Candidates with experience in managing budgets and ensuring adherence to institutional and agency regulations will be given preference.
