Our business is rapidly expanding, and we have a vacancy for a Graduate Trainee Façade Inspector to join our team. Must be Singaporean or Permanent Resident status (PR) only.
About the Role This is an entry-level position ideal for motivated individuals looking to build a career in the built environment. You will begin by supporting our experienced inspection teams on the ground, learning the fundamentals of facade assessment before progressing to becoming a Façade Inspector, as you complete your training and qualifications.
We are looking for a candidate who will grow with us, and so attitude and ability to work as part of a small team, to learn and adapt as the company grows, is as important as the qualifications you have. We will invest in your training.
What You Will Do
In your initial phase, you will:
- Assist senior inspectors on-site during facade inspection projects
- Help with equipment setup, logistics, and site safety compliance
- Record observations, take photographs, and support inspection documentation
- Learn to identify common facade defects such as spalling, cracks, water infiltration, and delamination
- Communicate clearly with site supervisors and team members
- Support with the collation of reports and setting up jobs and some team administration.
As you progress and gain your certifications, you will:
- Conduct facade inspections in accordance with BCA and WSH safety requirements
- Operate drones to perform aerial facade surveys and capture inspection data
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and defect schedules
- Contribute to recommendations for maintenance and rectification works
- Work with team members provide accurate costings/quotations for PFI work to potential clients. Attend client meetings as needed.
What We Are Looking For
- Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident only
- Minimum a Diploma or Degree in Engineering (any discipline), fresh graduates are welcome
- No prior inspection experience required, full training is provided but knowledge of façade systems is a plus
- A positive attitude and genuine willingness to learn
- Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor site conditions
- Good attention to detail and a safety-first mindset
- Good IT skills, comfortable using AI solutions
- Physically fit and able to meet the demands of site work
- Someone articulate and comfortable engaging with clients and suppliers
- Can-do proactive attitude.
Certifications You Will Work Towards
- BCA Facade Inspector training (where applicable)
- Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA) Level 1 certification
- Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) UAPL drone pilot license
- Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) relevant certificates. Work at heights qualifications (WAH/MWAH)
- After 2 years you will be eligible to be a Registered Facade Inspector
