Let's talk about the Role:

As a Graduate Manufacturing Engineer in Moulding Engineering, you'll learn how innovative manufacturing processes are developed, validated, and improved, all within the framework of a highly regulated, high-performance medical device environment. In this role, you will be part of an experienced manufacturing team that excels in the prototyping, process development and delivery for NPI, directly influencing Resmed's innovation journey.

Let's talk about Responsibilities:

  • Works as part of a team to solve complex engineering problems using logical and methodical thinking. Acquires data and interprets it through statistical analyses; partners with internal cross-functional teams to review data and provide recommendations for process improvement.
  • Train with subject matter experts in LSR injection moulding and automation systems.
  • Support the design, validation, and implementation of new moulding processes, tools, and equipment. Utilizes necessary tools and actively seeks input and guidance to execute and complete process validation activities and documentation.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to resolve real-time production issues in a fast-paced, automated factory.
  • Learn to apply GMP, Lean, and Six Sigma principles in a production environment.
  • Introduces new technology and lean processes (automation & digitization) to enhance operations efficiency, reduce floor space, and improves manufacturing scalability.
  • Assists with introducing and maintaining production procedures.
  • Provides training on new equipment, processes & procedures as required. Supports production by resolving technical issues as needed.
  • Communicates technical information clearly to peers and senior team members in written, verbal and graphical mediums.

Let's talk about Qualifications and Experience:

Required


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline.
  • A genuine interest in moulding, automation, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
  • Interest and/or experience in Medical Devices manufacturing process development.
  • Interest and/or experience with process validation within a regulated Quality System environment including risk management, such as ISO13485 and ISO14971.
  • Interest or experience in data analytics, SQL, or tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Quality-oriented mindset and proactive in recommending updates to processes where appropriate.
  • High level of communication agility required to work across cross functional teams. Excellent communication and documentation skills, including technical reports.
  • Achievement-oriented, independent, innovative, explorative, resourceful, with an attention-to-detail attitude.
  • You are a team player with a can-do attitude and are willing to try, fail, and learn from your mistakes.
