Job Description

About Arki

At Arki, we're an ambitious fintech company with big ideas. Our mission is simple: to empower people to take control of their financial futures with confidence, clarity, and the tools they truly deserve. As we embark on this journey, we'd love to bring someone on board who's eager to learn, ready to hustle, and can thrive in a bit of creative chaos.

Role Overview

This internship is tailored for recent graduates who want real exposure to the inner workings of a fintech company operating in the digital wealth and investment space. You'll get a front-row seat to how we scale, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time Arki Management Associate,

After a six-month performance evaluation, outstanding interns may be offered a Junior Portfolio Manager position — subject to the necessary regulatory license qualifications.

What You'll Do

As a Graduate Intern (Investment), you'll work on the core elements of Arki's investment operations, portfolio analytics, and market insights.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Assisting in market research, investment thesis writing, and tracking fund performance

• Supporting portfolio management operations — updating dashboards, monitoring fund data, and preparing trade or performance reports

• Assisting in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of base code supporting Arki's investment operations and automation systems

• Supporting the design, testing, and performance analysis of proprietary investment strategies, including backtesting and quantitative evaluation

• Supporting the content team with market insights, asset allocation logic, and educational pieces

• Preparing internal reports, dashboards, and investment memos

• Helping manage external investment communications and platform updates

• Participating in weekly market reviews and brainstorming sessions

Technical & Coding Requirements

• Basic proficiency in Python (pandas, numpy, matplotlib) for data analysis and visualization

• Familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets automation, and optionally SQL or APIs

• Ability to clean, transform, and visualize financial data to support portfolio or strategy development

• Experience or interest in building small tools, scripts, or dashboards is a plus

About You

You're a curious, analytical graduate who follows markets and has a passion for making finance accessible.

• Strong interest in investing, markets, and financial strategy

• Confident working with data and quantitative concepts

• Able to distill complex information into clear insights

• Clear, concise communicator — both written and verbal

• Comfortable working independently and handling multiple projects

• Eager to learn and contribute in a startup environment

What You'll Gain

• Real-world exposure to a high-growth, high-impact fintech environment

• Direct mentorship from founders and senior team members

• A platform to build operational, analytical, and communication skills

• A path to a full-time role if you perform well

• A supportive team culture that values ownership, learning, and agility
