About the Role

We are seeking a Government Relations Manager to serve as the primary liaison between Beyondsoft and Singapore government agencies. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the company remains compliant with regulatory requirements, while also being well positioned to engage constructively with government initiatives, grants, and evolving policy developments that support business growth.

The role requires sound policy judgment, strong stakeholder management capability, and the ability to interpret macro-level government direction and translate it into relevant business considerations. The successful candidate will be expected to operate with a high degree of independence and credibility when engaging external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Government & Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as the main point of contact for Singapore government agencies and statutory boards; potential exposure to broader SEA markets over time.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with relevant public sector stakeholders.

Policy & Opportunity Tracking

• Monitor and track government initiatives, subsidies, grants, and industry transformation programs aligned with company priorities.
• Maintain a structured overview (e.g. dashboard or tracker) of relevant government opportunities and policy developments.

Regulatory & Policy Monitoring

• Provide early insights on proposed regulatory or legislative changes that may impact business operations or strategic planning.

Advocacy & Policy Engagement

• Prepare position papers, briefs, or white papers articulating the company's capabilities and value proposition within policy and regulatory frameworks.
• Support engagement with government decision-makers through structured policy communication.

Compliance & Program Oversight

• Ensure compliance with reporting and governance requirements related to government-funded programs or public sector engagements.

External Representation

• Represent the company at government-hosted forums, industry working groups, and policy roundtables.
• Synthesize and communicate key insights to internal stakeholders.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Senior consultant arrangements may be considered for highly experienced profiles.
• Singapore Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of Singapore's government ecosystem, statutory boards, and Industry Transformation Maps (ITMs).
• Communication: Fluent in English and Chinese, with strong written and verbal briefing skills.
• Education: University degree; candidates with substantial professional experience in Singapore's public sector or policy ecosystem are preferred.
• Strategic Capability: Demonstrated ability to translate policy direction and government initiatives into business or partnership opportunities.
