Job Description

• The Goldsmith/Silversmith will be responsible for the crafting, repairing, and finishing of fine jewellery pieces using gold, silver, and other precious metals. The role requires strong hand-crafting skills, precision, and the ability to work with delicate materials. The ideal candidate will produce high-quality workmanship according to design specifications and ensure all pieces meet brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate jewellery pieces using gold, silver, and precious metals (e.g., rings, pendants, bangles, chains).
• Execute repairs such as resizing, soldering, stone tightening, re-polishing, re-plating, and refurbishment.
• Perform metal forming techniques such as casting, engraving, sawing, bending, and soldering.
• Operate jewellery tools and machinery: polishing motor, soldering torch, casting equipment, laser welding machine (if applicable).
• Read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, and design concepts.
• Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity.
• Work closely with designers, and sales teams to meet client specifications and deadlines.
• Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety of the workshop and tools.
• Ensure proper handling and accounting of precious metals, stones, and materials.
