The Company

Our client is a leading FSI company and we are seeking a skilled and driven investment performance and risk professional to join a high-performing team. The Investment Performance & Risk (IPR) team plays a central role in supporting investment decision-making, providing accurate and insightful performance and risk intelligence across all funds and portfolios.

The Role

. Designing and producing investment risk and performance reports across asset classes and strategies.

. Validating performance figures and ensuring the timely, accurate delivery of reports to stakeholders.

. Providing meaningful analysis behind the numbers, including risk and factor attributions, scenario analysis, and clear commentary.

. Investigating and resolving data quality issues through to completion.

. Collaborating with IT, custodians, and system vendors to implement and enhance risk modelling and performance attribution methodologies.

. Managing data pipelines and transforming investment data for analytical use.

. Building and maintaining investment reporting dashboards.

. Contributing to initiatives that enhance analytics capabilities and improve team processes.

. Providing technical guidance and direction to junior team members.

Your Profile

. 5-10 years of experience in a risk and performance analysis or reporting role within a financial institution.

. Degree in Finance, Financial Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.

. Strong knowledge of risk and performance return methodologies, investment products, and portfolio accounting.

. Experience analysing risk factors and modelling volatility, tracking error, and stress scenarios.

. Proficiency in FactSet, Bloomberg, SQL, and/or Python.

. Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

. Exposure to data lake architecture or broader data engineering is advantageous.

. A strong communicator who can engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
