Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, commercially driven General Manager to lead, stabilise and scale our Singapore FMCG business. Reporting to the CEO, this role has full P&L ownership and accountability for revenue growth, market penetration, brand performance, marketing activities and profitability across Modern Trade, General Trade and e‑commerce. You will oversee local warehousing and logistics and play a critical role in strengthening distributor and retailer partnerships while aligning execution to the Group's strategy.

Responsibilities

  • P&L ownership: own topline growth, margin expansion and disciplined cost control; optimise promotional ROI and trade investment.
  • Commercial strategy: define pricing, promotions, portfolio mix and route‑to‑market; set sales targets and drive execution across channels.
  • Key account & channel management: build and deepen relationships with retailers and distributors; negotiate JBPs, trade terms and promotional calendars to maximise distribution and visibility.
  • Brand & activation: localise global brand strategy for Singapore and oversee trade marketing, in‑store visibility, merchandising and consumer activations.
  • Supply chain & logistics: manage in‑market warehousing and logistics; coordinate with regional supply chain to ensure product availability, cost efficiency and compliance.
  • Financial & governance: lead annual budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning; ensure robust internal controls and regulatory compliance.
  • People & leadership: build, coach and retain a compact, high‑performing leadership team; implement performance management, capability development and succession planning.


Experience

  • 15+ years senior leadership experience in FMCG, F&B on Consumer related sectors with demonstrable end‑to‑end P&L responsibility.
  • Proven operator in growth and turnaround contexts with measurable commercial and margin improvements delivered.
  • Strong track record negotiating JBPs and managing relationships with major retailers and distributors.
  • Solid experience in market logistics and trade execution; commercially savvy and metrics‑driven.
  • Hands‑on, decisive leader with excellent stakeholder influence across internal functions and external partners.
