About The Role
Support and manage centralized trade documentation review, stakeholders coordination, collaboration and management, implementation activities, and exception management activities within the GTM Command Center / Control Tower environment.
This role is focused on pre-clearance document compliance, broker collaboration, operational visibility, workflow orchestration, and process governance across global trade and customs operations. The position acts as a central coordination point between clients, brokers, freight forwarders, 3PLs, and internal stakeholders to improve documentation readiness, compliance, operational consistency, and overall trade compliance governance.
What You Will Do
- Manage pre-clearance trade documentation reviews of shipping and customs documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, airway bills, arrival notices, shipping instructions, and other supporting trade documents, validating completeness and accuracy, and ensuring customs compliance readiness of all trade documents
- Identify documentation discrepancies, missing information, data inconsistencies, and compliance risks, and coordinate resolution with relevant stakeholders
- Act as a centralized coordination point between clients, customs brokers, freight forwarders, 3PLs, and internal operational teams
- Manage document workflows, broker collaboration activities, exception management processes, and operational follow-ups within GTM Command Center environment and the digital trade solution platform
- Monitor documentation readiness, broker response timelines, operational KPIs, and workflow statuses to ensure timely pre-clearance trade compliance support
- Coordinate with trade compliance and classification specialists on tariff classifications, customs requirements, regulatory queries, and trade-related matters
- Support onboarding and implementation of GTM operational workflows, SOPs, and digital solutions across new countries, clients, brokers, and stakeholders
- Conduct user onboarding sessions, workflow walkthroughs, system testing, training, and operational readiness activities during implementation phases
- Support operational governance through KPI monitoring, audit trail management, reporting, and process standardization initiatives
- Prepare operational dashboards, performance reports, and management updates relating to documentation accuracy, turnaround time, workflow performance, exceptions, and operational trends
- Support SOP development, process optimization initiatives, and continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency and compliance governance
- Maintain proper recordkeeping and document traceability in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Participate in digital transformation and operational enhancement initiatives within the GTM Command Center and digital trade solutions
Job Requirements
What You Need
- Experience in trade compliance, customs clearance, trade documentation review, freight forwarding operations, import/export coordination, or global trade operations
- Good understanding of import/export processes, customs documentation requirements, and international trade operations
- Familiarity with tariff classifications, Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), customs compliance, and broker coordination processes is an advantage
- Experience supporting operational implementation, onboarding activities, SOP rollouts, or process transitions is preferred
- Strong coordination, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills; project coordination skills are critical, especially the ability to manage multiple workflows and priorities simultaneously
- Analytical and detail-oriented mindset with the ability to identify operational and compliance risks
- Experience working with digital workflow platforms, dashboards, visibility tools, or operational tracking systems is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, reporting, and operational data analysis is advantageous
