Global Tax Manager

We are seeking a confident and experienced Global Tax Manager as a new addition, to join us in our Singapore office. The ideal candidate is resilient, resourceful, hands-on, able to work independently and highly commercial-minded. You have strong interpersonal skills and highly capable of working in a global multi-cultural setting.

Role Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive holistic tax advice to business partners to ensure alignment with global tax strategies and local regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and resolve international tax matters including cross-border transactions, withholding taxes, permanent establishment risks, indirect taxes, and tax structuring.
  • Lead transfer pricing matters including intercompany pricing policies, documentation, and compliance
  • Oversee GST/VAT compliance and advisory, including cross-border transactions and optimisation of indirect tax positions.
  • Design and implement tax-efficient intercompany transaction structures including funding, service, royalty, and cost allocation arrangements.
  • Review and optimise intercompany agreements to ensure tax efficiency and compliance.
  • Manage corporate income tax, GST/VAT, and withholding tax filings across jurisdictions.
  • Support global tax planning initiatives and identify opportunities for tax optimisation.
  • Coordinate tax audits and manage relationships with tax authorities and advisors.
  • Perform tax accounting including current and deferred tax provisions and reporting.
  • Maintain transfer pricing documentation and tax databases.
  • Stay updated on international and local tax developments.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant tax experience, ideally with a mix of Big 4 and in-house experience.
  • Strong technical expertise in international taxation including transfer pricing, GST/VAT, withholding tax, and cross-border structuring.
  • Proven experience in designing and managing tax-efficient intercompany transactions.
  • Solid understanding of OECD transfer pricing guidelines and documentation requirements.
  • Hands-on experience managing multi-jurisdictional tax compliance and advisory.
  • CPA, CA, ACA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
