Global Sourcing Manager (Automatic Testing Equipment)

Overview

Our client is a listed American MNC in expansion phase. They are currently on the lookout for an strategic procurement professional to managed their spend for testing and automation equipment used in their production/sites facilities.

This is a critical role due to the high-value equipment this position will be looking to procure achieving OTD, quality, reliability, service, and cost targets. At this role, you will have closely visibility with upper management in terms of direction and influence.

This role requires someone with a passion and track-record implementing and executing win-win strategies with suppliers across the globe.

• Full-time, permanent, newly created global role
• IC/People Management position, can be discussed depending on preference and experience
• Reporting to Director of Procurement

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on strategic procurement (negotiations, sourcing, commodity strategy work, not operational) experinece, managing spend of capital equipment (testing, automation, SMT, etc.) with knowledge/relationships with supplier-base
• Must have experience in Electronics/Semiconductor manufacturing sector (other industries will not be considered)
• Bachelor's degree (must have) in Engineering discipline or relevant field
• Previous experience in R&D/Equipment Engineering for Testing and Automation equipment would be advantageous
• Analytical ability and strong communication skills to present data/recommendations to senior stakeholders is critical for the success of this position
• Stable and progressive employment track-record
• Ability and willingness to travel 35%

Remuneration

• 8,000 to 13,000 SGD base per month + AWS + VB + other benefits
