We aim to simplify and optimize the complex supply chain involved in the distribution of fresh produce. At the same time, we aim to reduce wastage of fresh produce due to inefficient handling and delays with the help of efficient logistics and transportation systems.

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive Global Sourcing & Procurement Manager to drive multi-category agricultural-food sourcing and global supplier partnership development for Farmio.

The role focuses on identifying and managing suppliers across key product lines, including rice, cooking oil, eggs, and other supplies needed for a food distribution business while also securing the best pricing, quality, and payment terms. You will play a key role in building a resilient and cost-efficient supply network that supports Farmio's regional growth.

Responsibilities

• Supplier Sourcing: Identify and evaluate suppliers for food products, packaging, and materials; ensure competitive pricing, quality, and reliability.
• Negotiation & Contracting: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and supply agreements to achieve cost savings and stable partnerships.
• Procurement Execution: Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and coordinate with operations and finance to ensure smooth procurement flow.
• Market Research: Monitor commodity trends and supplier performance; maintain updated cost and vendor databases.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with operations, logistics, and marketing teams to align sourcing plans with business needs.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to drive efficiency, trust, and long-term cooperation.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in global or regional agricultural-food sourcing, procurement, or agricultural-food supply management.

Proven success in multi-category agricultural-food sourcing and supplier relationship management. Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Familiar with agricultural-food import/export documentation, trade compliance, and supplier audits.

Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace; ERP or procurement system experience is a plus.

Fluent in English; Mandarin or other regional language skills are an advantage.
