Job Description

Overview

Responsible for developing and executing sales strategies for the company's semiconductor products across key global markets (Mainland China, the United States, and Taiwan). This role involves leading a high-performing sales team, achieving sales targets, expanding customer networks, maintaining strategic partnerships, and collaborating with R&D and marketing teams to enhance product competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Goal Management

Develop annual sales plans and budgets by region (China, US, Taiwan) cascade and implement quarterly/monthly targets.

Provide accurate monthly and quarterly sales forecasts.

Analyze semiconductor industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to adapt sales strategies (e.g., distribution, direct sales, strategic partnerships).

Lead business negotiations and establish long-term cooperation frameworks with major clients (e.g., OEMs, IDMs, system integrators).

  • Cross-Regional Team Leadership

Directly manage the China sales team oversee the daily operations and performance management of the US and Taiwan sales teams.

Establish effective cross-cultural collaboration mechanisms to resolve business issues arising from time zone, language, and market differences.

Develop high-potential sales talent and enhance the team's technical sales capabilities.

  • Customer & Market Development

Lead business development and relationship management for key clients in sectors such as consumer electronics and automotive electronics.

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop regional marketing strategies (e.g., trade shows, technical seminars, customer training).

Gather customer feedback to support product optimization in coordination with the R&D team.

  • Business Process Optimization

Refine end-to-end sales processes (from lead generation to payment collection), ensuring contract compliance-especially with respect to U.S. export controls and Taiwan trade policies.

Monitor accounts receivable and inventory turnover to mitigate business risks.

Provide accurate sales forecasts and coordinate with production planning to ensure stable supply and optimal inventory levels.

  • Channel Partner Management

Identify and select high-quality distributors and build long-term strategic partnerships.

Establish a structured and effective distributor management system.

Requirements:

  • Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree or above in Microelectronics, Electronic Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.

Minimum 10 years of sales experience in the semiconductor industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Prior experience managing cross-regional teams (China, US, Taiwan) is preferred.

Strong understanding of the semiconductor supply chain (design, manufacturing, packaging & testing) and mainstream products.

  • Core Competencies

Exceptional business negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing multimillion-dollar deals.

Strong cross-cultural communication skills and willingness to travel frequently (at least 4 times per year to the US/Taiwan).

Fluent in English (business negotiation level) proficiency in Mandarin is required. Ability to speak Hokkien or basic Japanese is a plus.

  • Industry Network

Well-established connections with leading semiconductor clients or channel partners.

In-depth understanding of the semiconductor ecosystems in the US (e.g., Silicon Valley, Texas) and Taiwan (e.g., Hsinchu, Tainan).

  • Willing to travel frequently
