Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Global Sales Manager to lead our electronic components sales operations. This position is crucial for managing the full Profit & Loss statement for our overseas business unit, ensuring sustainable growth, margin protection, and cost-effective expansion. The ideal candidate will have direct leadership skills, a deep understanding of the supplier ecosystem, distribution channels, and end-customer demands across various sectors including Automotive, Consumer Electronics, and Industrial.

Key Responsibilities:

Profit & Loss Management:

  • Analyze and manage the full Profit & Loss statement for the overseas business unit.
  • Develop strategies to ensure sustainable growth and margin protection.
  • Identify opportunities for cost-effective expansion.

Leadership & Team Management:

  • Provide direct leadership and support to regional sales heads in ASEAN and India.
  • Foster a high-performance sales culture, setting clear goals and objectives.
  • Oversee and mentor the sales team, driving accountability and performance.

Market & Customer Insights:

  • Maintain a deep understanding of the supplier ecosystem, distribution channels, and end-customer demands.
  • Analyze market trends and customer feedback to inform product offerings and sales strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across various industries.

Sales Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement effective go-to-market strategies tailored to different regions and customer segments.
  • Drive revenue growth through the identification of new business opportunities and optimization of existing accounts.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product management teams to align sales initiatives with overall business goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in sales management, preferably in the electronic components industry.
  • Proven track record of managing P&L statements with a focus on growth and profitability.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience managing regional sales teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of the supplier ecosystem, distribution channels, and end-customer needs in Automotive, Consumer Electronics, and Industrial sectors.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, market trends, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
