Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Global Project Management Manager to take end‑to‑end (Order‑to‑Cash) ownership of full‑life cycle project delivery for Esco Healthcare BU global product portfolios. This role covers post‑order activities including design alignment, manufacturing, FAT, on‑site installation & commissioning, SAT coordination, final customer acceptance, project closure and payment collection. This role also leads the development of global project delivery frameworks, drive process standardization, end‑to‑end risk governance, cost control and quality compliance to deliver projects efficiently, compliantly and cost‑effectively.

Key Responsibilities

1. Own full‑life cycle delivery of global projects in healthcare BU. Develop detailed project plans and milestone timelines, coordinate commercial, engineering design, procurement and manufacturing teams, track progress and resolve delivery bottlenecks to meet contractual schedule, technical and quality requirements.
2. Drive on‑schedule project progress via regular reporting and issue resolution. Deliver periodic project status updates to leadership; proactively identify and escalate project risks and bottlenecks, hold relevant functional teams accountable for resolution, and mitigate delays to sustain project momentum.
3. Coordinate FAT execution, working with internal teams for pre‑shipment inspection, commissioning and document validation. Oversee cross‑border logistics, on‑site installation and commissioning, liaise with customers for SAT and ensure field delivery meets specifications.
4. Act as primary project delivery owner to control project costs, budgets and profitability. Monitor expenditures, prevent budget overruns, identify cost variances and implement corrective actions to lower fulfillment costs.
5. Identify and mitigate full‑scope project risks (design deviation, production delay, logistics disruption, on‑site execution, compliance, acceptance, payment etc.). Develop contingency plans and drive risk closure to avoid delays, rework, customer complaints and bad debt.
6. Lead cross‑functional and cross‑regional alignment across commercial, engineering design, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, field service and after‑sales teams. Run regular project sync and review meetings, resolve resource conflicts and technical roadblocks for global project execution.
7. Work closely with commercial teams on customer engagement throughout project delivery. Address delivery‑phase technical inquiries and scope‑change related topics, support final customer acceptance, and sustain healthy customer relationships.
8. Support payment collection post‑acceptance together with finance teams. Lead post‑project reviews, summarize lessons learned and generate standardized reports to scale proven delivery best practices.
9. Build and continuously improve project delivery standards, including planning templates, acceptance criteria, risk protocols and document management systems. Streamline inefficient workflows and unify global delivery standards.
10. Compile core project schedule adherence, cost performance, acceptance rate, risk closure, payment status. Prepare periodic business reports for leadership to support data‑driven business decisions.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Project Management or related fields preferred.
2. Minimum 8‑year end‑to‑end project management experience for industrial / capital equipment projects; minimum 3‑year experience leading medium‑to‑large‑scale, cross‑functional and overseas projects. PMP certification is a plus.
3. Prior background in pharma, biotech or medical device capital‑equipment is preferred. Hands‑on experience delivering custom non‑standard equipment for international projects.
4. Business‑fluent English as working language.
5. Strong cross‑cultural communication, problem‑solving and coordination skills; result‑driven, logical and capable of working under high pressure.
6. 30%‑50% international travel required; able to independently troubleshoot unplanned overseas project issues.
