Job Description

About The Company

Founders today are building global companies from day one — but the systems that manage their money were built for a different era. Aspire exists to change that!

We're building the financial operating system for global founders, bringing banking, software, and automation into a single platform so businesses can move faster across borders and stay focused on building.

Aspire is built by people who think from first principles, care deeply about solving hard problems, and take real ownership of their work. Our team brings global experience from leading fintech and technology companies, and many of us are former founders and operators who understand what it takes to build thoughtfully, make trade-offs, and deliver at scale in a global environment.

Backed by leading global investors including Y Combinator, Peak XV, and Lightspeed, Aspire has been trusted by more than 50,000 startups and growing businesses worldwide to manage their finances since 2018. Together with partners like J.P. Morgan, Visa, and Wise, we're building for the next generation of global companies.

About The Team

Aspire's Partnerships team builds and manages the relationships — banks, ERPs and accounting platforms, VCs, channel partners, resellers, and ISVs — that extend Aspire's reach to founders and businesses across our markets. Partnerships works across all three Aspire business units: Aspire BA (SME), Aspire OS (Mid-Market), and AspireX (Enterprise), each with its own segment, deal size, and sales motion.

This role sits at the center of that ecosystem: turning a growing, multi-category partner network into a consistent, measurable engine for partner-sourced pipeline and new customer acquisition.

About The Role

We're hiring a Global Partner Marketing Lead to design and own Aspire's partner marketing agenda, in service of one objective: scaling partner-sourced revenue and new customer acquisition alongside the Partnerships team.

Reporting to the VP of Partnerships, you'll set the global strategy, playbook, and standards for partner marketing across every partner category — banking/fintech, ERPs and accounting platforms, VCs, channel partners, resellers, and ISVs — and across all three business units. You won't run every campaign yourself: you'll work closely with Field Marketing Managers in each market and with regional Partnership Managers to bring that agenda to life locally, so global consistency and local relevance both hold.

This is a senior, hands-on individual-contributor role — you're the strategist and the operator, not (initially) a people manager. It suits someone who wants to build a function from a blank page and is comfortable driving outcomes through influence and close partnership rather than headcount.

What You'll Do

Own the Global Partner Marketing Agenda

  • Define and own Aspire's global partner marketing strategy and roadmap that ties directly to partner-sourced revenue and new customer acquisition targets across Aspire BA, Aspire OS, and AspireX.
  • Build the standard partner marketing playbook — co-marketing program structure, MDF frameworks, partner enablement assets, campaign templates — that regional teams can localize instead of reinventing.
  • Prioritize where partner marketing investment goes across partner categories and markets, based on revenue potential, partner engagement, and strategic fit for each BU.

Drive Partner-Sourced Pipeline and Revenue

  • Identify and activate partner marketing opportunities with Partnership/Channel Managers globally to turn partner relationships into active co-marketing pipeline.
  • Manage the global Marketing Development Fund (MDF) framework — allocation principles, governance, ROI tracking — that regional and in-market teams execute against.
  • Track partner-sourced pipeline, revenue contribution, and new-logo acquisition and use the data to reallocate investment toward what's working.

Orchestrate Co-Marketing Campaigns at Scale

  • Design repeatable co-marketing campaign frameworks (joint content, webinars, events, social) that Field Marketing Managers and partner teams can run in-market.
  • Localize global messaging and positioning for partner-facing campaigns, market by market.
  • Equip partners with ready-to-use assets, playbooks, and enablement materials so they can market Aspire effectively.

Be the Bridge Between Partnerships and Field Marketing

  • Work closely with Field Marketing Managers in every market to align partner marketing execution with local go-to-market priorities.
  • Act as the central point of coordination so partner marketing initiatives are globally consistent but locally relevant — no market reinventing the wheel, no one-size-fits-all mandate that ignores local reality.
  • Represent partner marketing's needs and opportunities in Aspire's broader marketing and partnerships planning.

Measure, Report, and Iterate

  • Establish shared metrics and a reporting cadence for partner marketing performance — pipeline and revenue contribution, campaign output, MDF efficiency, partner activation/engagement.
  • Share regular performance readouts with the VP of Partnerships and BU stakeholders, translating results into where to double down or pull back.

About You

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in partner marketing, channel marketing, or field marketing, with a track record spanning multiple partner types — channel partners, resellers, and ISVs at minimum.
  • Proven experience designing and running co-marketing programs and/or MDF frameworks that drove measurable partner-sourced pipeline or revenue — not just brand awareness.
  • Experience working globally or across multiple markets/regions, setting a central strategy that local teams executed.
  • Able to operate as both strategist and operator — equally comfortable setting the agenda and rolling up your sleeves to ship a campaign yourself.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working cross-functionally across Partnerships, Sales, Field Marketing, and BU/Product Marketing leadership.
  • A background in fintech, SaaS, or financial services is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a fast-growing, multi-business-unit organization spanning SME, mid-market, and enterprise segments.
  • Familiarity with the full range of partner ecosystem categories relevant to fintech — banks, ERPs/accounting platforms, VCs, channel resellers, ISVs.
  • Experience building partner marketing measurement frameworks (e.g., partner-sourced pipeline attribution, MDF ROI dashboards).
  • Fluency in Mandarin/Chinese is a plus, given Aspire's growing partner ecosystem in China.

What Good Looks Like

  • Sustained growth in partner-sourced pipeline, revenue, and new customer acquisition across all three business units.
  • A consistent, global partner marketing playbook that Field Marketing Managers actually adopt and use in-market — not a document that sits on a shelf.
  • Improved partner activation and engagement rates across banking/fintech, ERP, VC, channel, and ISV partners.
  • Efficient, well-governed use of Marketing Development Funds with clear, demonstrable ROI.
