Global Markets - Voice - Sales Trader

Your role :

. As an Equity Sales Trader - Associate Director, you will be based in Singapore with responsibility for APAC cash equities execution and advisory, partnering closely with regional and global stakeholders.

. Execute and support cash equity trades across APAC markets for institutional and professional clients, ensuring best execution across market conditions.

. Provide timely, actionable market colour, liquidity insights, and execution guidance to clients and internal coverage teams.

. Advise clients on optimal execution strategies, including block trades, worked orders, portfolio trading, and electronic execution solutions.

. Collaborate closely with APAC and global trading and execution desks to source liquidity, manage cross‑market flows, and support regional transaction needs.

. Partner with Equity Sales and Coverage teams to identify and deliver cross‑selling opportunities across cash equities, execution services, portfolio trading, and electronic trading platforms.

. Contribute directly to revenue growth and wallet share expansion by supporting strategic client relationships and regional franchise objectives.

. Ensure full compliance with local and regional regulatory requirements, conduct standards, and internal risk and control frameworks.

. Actively manage execution risk, errors, and escalations, ensuring issues are addressed promptly, transparently, and in line with firm standards.

. Support desk and team development, including mentoring junior traders, sharing best practices, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the APAC platform.

Your team :

The APAC Equity Sales Trading team partners closely with regional and global sales, trading, and execution functions to deliver high‑quality execution, differentiated market insight, and scalable execution solutions to institutional clients.

Based in Singapore, the Associate Director plays a key role in:

Supporting regional equity trading and execution activity across APAC.

Deepening client engagement through execution advisory and market expertise.

Driving collaboration across regions to enhance liquidity access, execution outcomes, and cross‑asset opportunities.

Supporting the growth of the equities franchise through commercial focus, client alignment, and strong risk discipline.

Your expertise :

. 5-10 years experience in equity sales trading or execution, with strong exposure to APAC equity markets.

. Proven experience working with institutional clients and collaborating with regional and global counterparties.

. Strong understanding of equity market structure, liquidity dynamics, and best execution principles.

. Excellent communication skills, commercial judgement, and a high degree of risk awareness and ownership.

. Relevant Singapore regulatory registration (or ability to obtain).

. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
