The Key Account Manager (KAM) acts as the CEO of the customer relationship for a defined portfolio of global accounts (GA) within KN, serving either as a Global Key Account Manager or Network Key Account Manager. As part of the vertical's KAM team, the role serves as the primary commercial contact for the customer across all engagements, ensuring a consistent, customer-centric experience across all KN products, services, and business units. The KAM leads the full commercial customer journey end-to-end, translating customer intelligence into actionable business opportunities and capturing these in an evolving, jointly aligned growth plan, that is documented in Corelog. The role builds and maintains trust-based relationships with multiple layers of customer stakeholders, deeply understanding their business requirements and supply chain needs while proactively identifying global growth opportunities. To maximize the partnership's potential, the KAM orchestrates and manages a virtual team of internal stakeholders across key network countries, business units, and co-functions, ensuring coordinated execution, seamless delivery, and strategic alignment. Operating within KN's Global Key Account Program, the KAM ensures disciplined pipeline management, accurate account intelligence, forecasting of KN Potential, and high-quality opportunity qualification. Ultimately, the KAM strengthens KN's position as a trusted long-term partner and contributes directly to the vertical's sustainable, profitable global growth.
