Global Head of AI Strategy

A fantastic opportunity to lead, shape and execute the enterprise wide AI Strategy for a leading global financial institution operating across major financial markets.

The role sits at the intersection of AI innovation, business transformation, governance, and executive stakeholder engagement with direct influence across front office businesses and corporate functions.

Ideal candidate: Comes from a consulting background, has exposure to capital markets, has led the development and execution of AI strategy in large global enterprises. Not just high level strategy focused but has led implementation and deployment of AI products and solutions at enterprise level. Open to relocating to Singapore candidates that have worked in global financial market hubs like London, New York, Hong Kong.

The Opportunity

As the senior leader responsible for AI strategy and operationalization across the international business, you will drive the identification, prioritization, and delivery of high-impact AI initiatives from concept through to production deployment.

You will partner closely with senior executives across business lines, technology, risk, compliance, and operations to unlock measurable commercial value through GenAI, machine learning, NLP, predictive analytics, and agentic AI solutions.

This is a highly visible leadership role requiring both strategic vision and hands-on execution capability.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the international AI strategy aligned to global priorities

• Partner with senior stakeholders to identify high-value AI opportunities across the enterprise

• Lead AI initiatives from ideation, PoC, and MVP through to enterprise-scale deployment

• Drive adoption of scalable AI capabilities, frameworks, governance, and operating models

• Ensure all AI initiatives meet governance, regulatory, model risk, and compliance standards

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on AI transformation and innovation

• Represent the organization in industry forums, regulatory engagements, and strategic partnerships

• Build and mature enterprise AI capabilities, literacy, and operating practices across regions

What We Are Looking For

• 15+ years of experience across AI strategy, data science, digital transformation, or technology strategy within financial services

• Proven track record delivering AI solutions from concept to production in complex global environments

• Deep understanding of GenAI, LLMs, agentic systems, and enterprise AI implementation

• Strong knowledge of AI governance, model risk, and regulatory frameworks

• Executive-level stakeholder management and influencing capability

• Experience working across front office and/or corporate functions within financial institutions

• Ability to bridge business strategy with technical execution at enterprise scale

• Outstanding communication, presentation, and strategic thinking skills
