Our client is a global manufacturer of high‑technology, critical engineering solutions supporting the Oil & Gas, Power and Energy sectors. As part of their growth plans, they are seeking to appoint a Global FP&A Manager.
The Role
Reporting to the Global Finance Director, this role will manage a lean FP&A team and play a pivotal role in driving financial close, consolidation, forecasting, and performance insight across multiple business verticals and geographies.
This is a highly visible role requiring strong technical FP&A capabilities, cross‑regional stakeholder management, and the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insight for decision‑making.
- Lead and manage monthly financial close, consolidation, forecasting, and budgeting processes across global business verticals
- Own and govern FP&A reporting frameworks, including timelines, templates, forecast instructions, and monthly close guidance
- Prepare and deliver monthly, forecast, and budget OPR packs, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and decision relevance
- Provide clear, actionable financial insights to support strategic and operational decision‑making
- Partner closely with Vertical Finance, Commercial Finance, and Group Finance teams as a trusted finance business partner
- Drive continuous improvement of FP&A processes, tools, and data quality
- Lead cross‑vertical and cross‑regional initiatives and problem‑solving projects, collaborating across global stakeholders
- Manage and develop a lean FP&A team, supporting capability building and reporting discipline across regions
Your Profile
As a successful candidate, you will possess the following relevant skills sets and experience
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA) preferred
- 5-7 years of hands‑on experience in Financial Planning & Analysis and reporting, ideally within a MNC environment
- Solid exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term business planning
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint will be preferred.
- Highly meticulous and ability to work in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment
- Strong communication skills with demonstrated experience working with global stakeholders across US, Europe, and Asia, including managing different time zones
