The Opportunity:
Adecco is partnering with a global semiconductor equipment manufacturer and they are hiring a Global Buyer to support NPI, CIP and production ramp. This role drives material readiness, supplier performance, cost and lead time optimisation within a fast paced, high mix environment.
- Work location: West
- Work hours: Mon-Fri, 8.30am - 5.30pm
- Salary: up to $6,500 + AWS + VB
The Job:
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities to ensure material readiness for NPI, CIP and production
- Issue POs, monitor deliveries and drive supplier OTD and lead time performance
- Review RFQs, analyze quotations and negotiate for cost, quality and delivery targets
- Work closely with engineering, planning and quality teams to resolve technical and supply issues
- Monitor supplier performance, drive corrective actions and support supplier development
- Optimize inventory levels, manage shortages and ensure smooth material flow
The Talent:
- Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or related discipline
- Experience in semiconductor, electronics or contract manufacturing environment
- Proficient in SAP/MRP systems and strong Excel skills
- Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Able to work in a fast paced environment with high ownership
