About The Role
As a GIS Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, performance, and integrity of enterprise GIS platforms. You will manage spatial data operations, support system administration across cloud and on-premise environments, and enable accurate, high-quality geospatial insights that drive business and client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Administer ArcGIS Enterprise environments across on-premise, Azure, and AWS platforms, including patching, monitoring, user access, and license management
Manage enterprise geodatabases, including versioning, reconciliation, replication, archiving, and data integrity controls
Execute spatial data migration workflows, including data profiling, cleansing, transformation, validation, and publishing
Develop and maintain FME workspaces to automate data ingestion, transformation, and integration workflows
Build and maintain Python scripts to automate geoprocessing, platform tasks, and data quality checks
Support spatial database operations across MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Azure SQL, and AWS RDS environments
Provide user support for GIS tools, service publishing, and troubleshooting; escalate complex issues when needed
Maintain documentation, including data dictionaries, migration logs, and operational runbooks in line with governance standards
Required Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in ArcGIS Enterprise administration within production environments
Strong expertise in ArcGIS Enterprise components (Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Data Store, Web Adaptor)
Proven experience in enterprise geodatabase management (versioning, replication, reconciliation, archiving)
Hands-on experience with FME for spatial data integration and automation
Proficiency in MS SQL for spatial data management; working knowledge of PostgreSQL, Azure SQL, and AWS RDS
Proficiency in Python for GIS automation and scripting
Experience using ArcGIS Pro for spatial analysis, editing, and service publishing
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ArcGIS Field Maps, Survey123, or similar field data collection tools
Knowledge of OGC standards and REST-based GIS services
Exposure to cloud-based or regulated environments
Understanding of DevOps or CI/CD practices applied to GIS platforms
Experience in public sector, urban planning, or land administration domains
