Role Description The German Language Online Tutor will deliver live, one-on-one German lessons via video to learners of various ages and proficiency levels. This contract, remote role involves planning and customizing each session based on the learner's needs, objectives, and progress. The tutor will design engaging activities, use interactive tools and digital resources, and adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles. Day-to-day tasks include assessing learner performance, providing constructive feedback, maintaining accurate records of sessions, and participating in occasional training or meetings with VivaLing's coaching team. The tutor is expected to ensure a supportive, motivating learning environment and uphold VivaLing's standards for professional, high-quality instruction.

Qualifications

• Strong online tutoring skills with experience delivering live, interactive lessons.
• Proficiency in teaching, especially with international learners.
• Excellent communication skills, including clear verbal expression, active listening, and constructive feedback.
• Native or native-like proficiency in German, with accurate grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary.
• Relevant teaching certification or qualification in language education, preferably focused on teaching children or young learners.
• Experience using online platforms, video conferencing tools, and digital learning resources.
• Ability to work independently, manage a flexible schedule, and teach across different time zones.
• Ability to communicate in the English language for the purposes of administrative procedures, training, etc.
