Responsibilities:
- Create analytical 2D and 3D models using Plaxis 2D /3D
- Carry out detailed geotechnical engineering design and calculations for earth retaining structures and slope stability
- Prepare geotechnical design calculation reports and drawings
- Review soil investigation reports and preparing interpretative reports
- Advise on various types of ground monitoring instruments, and review monitoring results
- Attend design and site meetings, when required.
Requirements:
- Graduated with Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering / Geotechnical Engineering
- Familiar with Plaxis 2D/3D software
- Good communication and inter-personal skills, and project management skills
- Familiar with Eurocode design procedures
- Familiar with local building regulations regarding geotechnical work
- Preferably 3 years experience in geotechnical design in a consultancy firm.
