We are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to support major infrastructure and civil engineering projects in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for design review, engineering assessment, construction support, and authority coordination for geotechnical works.
Review and manage geotechnical works including ERSS, piling, ground improvement, and slope stabilization.
Interpret soil investigation reports and assess ERSS toe levels.
Conduct feasibility studies and in-house engineering optioneering for geotechnical solutions.
Review and interpret Instrumentation & Monitoring (I&M) data and liaise with consultants to resolve related matters.
Attend regular and ad-hoc coordination meetings with clients, authorities, QPS, and consultants.
Provide construction support, including preparation and review of shop drawings and close coordination with the site team.
Support authority submissions and approvals (e.g., LTA, DBC, PUB) including geotechnical impact assessments.
Assist in LTA Project Safety Review processes (PSR, CDSS, CNSS).
Support pile load testing (ultimate and working load tests) and pumping tests.
Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
Consultancy background will be an added advantage.
Proficient in geotechnical engineering software such as PLAXIS, GeoSlope, and CAD.
Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
