GEOLOGIST

Key Responsibilities:

. Conduct geological surveys and field studies at proposed project sites.

. Collect and analyze rock, soil, sediment, and water samples.

. Use a variety of tools including GIS software, remote sensing, and geophysical instruments.

. Interpret geological data and produce detailed reports, maps, and models.

. Assess natural hazards such as earthquakes, landslides, and erosion risks.

. Support mining, oil and gas exploration, or environmental remediation efforts.

. Collaborate with engineers, environmental scientists, and other stakeholders.

. Stay up-to-date with scientific developments and regulatory standards.

. Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field (required).
• 2+ years of field or laboratory experience (may vary based on job level).

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of geological principles and field methodologies.
• Proficiency with mapping,modeling, and data analysis software (e.g., ArcGIS, AutoCAD, RockWorks).
• Excellent observational and analytical skills.
• Ability to write technical reports and present findings clearly.
• Comfortable working in remote or challenging outdoor environments.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Working Conditions:

• Fieldwork may require extended travel, physical activity, and exposure to various weather conditions.
