Generative AI Engineer (LLM | RAG | AWS)

Our client, a government agency in Singapore, is looking for a Generative AI Engineer to build AI-powered applications using Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG and agentic AI. You will work with business stakeholders to develop innovative AI solutions from Proof of Concept (POC) through production deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop GenAI applications using OpenAI, Google Gemini, AWS Bedrock or similar platforms.
• Build full-stack applications, APIs and system integrations.
• Implement RAG pipelines, embeddings, vector search and agentic workflows.
• Deploy AI solutions on AWS (Lambda, ECS/Fargate, API Gateway, DynamoDB, etc.).
• Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver AI solutions.
• Evaluate new AI technologies and recommend innovative use cases.
• Optimise, document and support AI applications for production.

Requirements

• Strong programming skills in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG and AI APIs.
• Experience with AWS cloud services, Docker, Git and CI/CD.
• Familiar with AI agents, tool calling and workflow orchestration.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with React, Next.js, FastAPI, Streamlit or Node.js.
• Experience deploying production AI applications or working with vector databases.
