The Role

Solution Design & Development

• Design, build, and deploycustom copilotsandCopilot extensions(plugins, connectors, actions) usingCopilot StudioandGraph connectors.
• Engineerprompt flows, retrievalaugmented generation (RAG), andgroundingviaSharePoint, Dataverse, Azure Cognitive Search, andMicrosoft Graph.
• DevelopCopilot for M365skills across Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Loop-optimizing grounding, context, and guardrails.
• CreatePower Automateintegrations andPower AppsUI components to embed copilots into business processes.

Data & Integration Engineering

• Implementdata connectorsandGraph APIsto securely surface enterprise content with appropriate access controls (AAD, Entra ID, Graph scope).
• Build and optimizevector indexes/semantic search (Azure AI Search) for domainspecific RAG patterns.
• Integrate withLOB systems(e.g., SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow) using connectors or custom APIs manage schema, metadata, and content governance.

Safety, Security & Compliance

• ApplyResponsible AIandTrustworthy AIprinciples: content filtering, prompt safety, redteaming, and misuse prevention.
• Enforcedata residency, DLP, eDiscovery, retention labels, andConditional Accessfor Copilot interactions.
• Partner with Security/GRC to ensure solutions meet internal controls (e.g., ISO 27001/NIST) and organizationspecific policies.

MLOps & Operations

• EstablishDevOps/MLOpsfor Copilot assets: environments, source control, CI/CD, versioning, and telemetry.
• Monitorquality, latency, tokens/costs, usage analytics, and feedback loops to iteratively improve prompts and RAG performance.
• ImplementA/B testing, prompt evaluations, and evaluation datasets for continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Enablement & Change

• Run discovery workshops, translate use cases intoCopilot capability mapsand ROI hypotheses.
• Produce documentation (solution designs, prompt handbooks, runbooks) and deliver enablement/training to business users.
• Advise product teams onprompt patterns,hallucination mitigation, andgovernance.
