- Clean and maintain hygiene of dormitories, toilets, dining areas and common spaces
- Sweep and mop floors, clean windows and glass panels
- Disinfect residents beds, furniture, and equipment regularly
- Dispose of rubbish and recyclable waste properly
- Ensure cleanliness standards are maintained at all times
- Maintain high standards of Health, Safety and Hygiene, with particular regard for areas that are infection control
- Ensure that cleaning equipment is used appropriately and maintained to a high standard
- To be comfortable working in a male psychiatric rehabilitation home
- Perform cleaning duties as required by the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent
