Job Summary

You will collect and dispose of waste, maintain cleanliness of trucks and premises, assist with route planning, support basic equipment maintenance, and sort waste to ensure efficient waste management operations.

Responsibilities

• Collect waste from garbage bins and dispose of it into refuse trucks safely and efficiently
• Wash and clean garbage trucks and maintain the cleanliness of the washing area daily
• Assist in planning collection routes and identifying waste collection points to optimize operations
• Support drivers by performing basic maintenance tasks such as greasing equipment and topping up fuel and hydraulic fluids
• Sort waste and recyclable materials accurately within the warehouse and during collection
• Sweep and clean waste and dry leaves within company premises, including the backyard, to maintain a clean environment

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Possession of a forklift or excavator license to support equipment handling and operational efficiency
