Job Description

Our client is a well-established regional distributor of premium home furnishing products, specialising in high-end materials for the design and built environment sector.

They are seeking a commercially driven General Sales Manager to lead and expand their Singapore business. This role will take ownership of sales strategy, team development, and key client relationships within the design, architecture, and project segments.

This is a leadership position suited for someone with strong industry networks, a strategic mindset, and the ability to drive both revenue growth and team performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and drive overall sales performance for the Singapore market
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market share and revenue growth
  • Build, manage, and mentor a team of sales representatives
  • Establish and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders including interior designers, architects, developers, and contractors
  • Identify new business opportunities across residential, commercial, and hospitality projects
  • Oversee key accounts and ensure high levels of client engagement and satisfaction
  • Represent the organisation at industry events, networking sessions, and client engagements
  • Collaborate with regional stakeholders to align business objectives and performance targets
  • Provide regular sales reporting and market insights to regional leadership

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of sales experience within home furnishings, building materials, or related industries
  • Proven track record in managing key accounts and delivering revenue growth
  • Experience working with developers, contractors, and hospitality procurement firms
  • Strong network within Singapore's design and architecture community
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and building high-performing sales teams
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
