Job Summary: General Manager
Position:General Manager
Location: Singapore
Reports to: Managing Director
Position Overview
The General Manager is a key player in Company's marketing and instructional programs and will have a focus on the main Centre. The General Manager will assist the Managing Director with the coordination of tennis instructional programs and marketing plans as well as managing the overall tennis coaching program at the main Centre.
Key Responsibilities
. Duties may involve the implementation and supervision of Instructional programs.
. Ensuring a high level of guest and client service.
. The General Manager ensures that the policies and objectives of the company are implemented, high standards of quality are maintained, and profitability is consistently achieved.
. The General Manager reports to the Managing Director.
. Establish new relationships with potential clients, selling the company's tennis coaching services, and taking bookings. Handles new enquiries where applicable.
. Develops programs for tennis instruction.
. Coordinates all efforts with the Managing Director regarding revenue, expenses, budgets, and marketing and business plans.
. Services company's clients to the best of his ability.
. Directs operation of the tennis programs, including schedules of instruction, session times, court allocations, and overall logistics.
. Leads group coaching sessions as required.
. Works with the Managing Director to set program pricing, assuring competitiveness and profitability.
. Assures that all staff members comply with company policies and procedures.
. Makes recommendations to the Managing Director regarding operational changes needed.
. Recommends new business opportunities as they arise
. Take Full P&L responsibility.
. Establishes control and accounting of receipts received from instructional and other fees.
Qualifications & Skills
. Possession of International or Nationally recognized certification in tennis is a must.
. 10 years or more of full-time tennis coaching experience and minimum role of Senior Tennis Professional or Head Coach.
. Experience with Tennis Junior programming, summer camp programs and adult programs highly desired.
. Able to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, weekends and
holidays.
. Have experience and proven success with business development in
sports camps and initiative.
. Experience in recruitment of talents.
. Has track records as Proven revenue driver.
. Ability to manage relationship of a prominent international hotel brand as our landlord.
