Job Description
The General Manager (Manufacturing) is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the textile manufacturing factory, including production, quality control, maintenance, inventory management, and workforce supervision. This role ensures efficient factory operations, achievement of production targets, compliance with safety and quality standards, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the overall textile manufacturing operations of the factory.
- Develop and implement production strategies to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
- Monitor production schedules to ensure timely completion and delivery of products.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards, workplace safety regulations, and factory policies.
- Supervise department managers, production supervisors, and factory staff.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, maintenance, and quality control departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor production costs, inventory usage, and operational performance.
- Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
- Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of textile manufacturing machinery and equipment.
- Prepare operational reports, production analysis, and performance evaluations for management review.
- Support business growth, production expansion, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Minimum Working Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Textile Engineering, Manufacturing Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in textile manufacturing or factory operations.
- At least 3-4 years of managerial experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of textile production processes, factory management, and operational planning.
- Experience in production management, workforce supervision, quality control, and process improvement is preferred.
