Role Overview
The GM/AGM – Strategy & Operations will work closely with the leadership team to drive high-impact strategic initiatives and strengthen operational excellence across the organization. The role involves solving complex business problems, leading cross-functional programs, building performance visibility through data, and ensuring seamless execution of key initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning & Execution
- Partner with leadership to define business strategy, OKRs, and long-term growth plans.
- Break down complex business challenges into structured problem statements and actionable solutions.
- Drive annual planning, goal setting, and periodic business reviews.
2. Program & Project Management
- Lead end-to-end execution of high-impact, cross-functional strategic initiatives.
- Develop detailed project plans, track milestones, manage dependencies, and ensure timely delivery.
- Proactively identify risks and execution gaps, and drive mitigation plans.
3. Operational Excellence
- Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
- Build scalable systems, SOPs, and dashboards to track operational and business health metrics.
- Drive automation and process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability.
4. Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Act as a key interface between leadership and functions including Product, Operations, Finance, and Marketing.
- Prepare leadership reviews, board-level presentations, and business performance reports.
- Support decision-making through data-backed insights, analysis, and strategic inputs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, or operations roles, preferably in startups, automotive, logistics, energy, or platform businesses.
- Prior experience in managing multi-site operations or partner/franchisee-led networks is highly desirable.
- Strong track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and driving execution.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical ability with experience working with large datasets.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; SQL is a strong plus.
