This role is responsible for driving growth and strategic execution for semiconductor devices. As a General Manager, this role carries full responsibility for sales performance, team leadership, and strategic alignment with Japan Headquarters. The position requires close and frequent reporting to HQ in Japan and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership to the sales department, driving performance through clear direction, regular communication, and disciplined execution to achieve sales targets.
- Develop and execute short-, mid-, and long-term sales strategies for Power Devices and High-Frequency Devices and key customer accounts, including structured design-in (D/I) activities.
- Take full ownership of sales planning, forecasting, and execution, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and Japan Headquarters objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Japan Headquarters on sales-related matters, including regular reporting, strategy updates, and issue escalation.
- Manage commercial matters with customers, distributors, and internal stakeholders, including pricing, delivery coordination, and contractual discussions.
- Prepare and submit timely and accurate reports to HQ in Japan, including Business Plans / Mid-Year Forecasts (BP/MYF), monthly and weekly performance reports, and business trip reports.
- Oversee inventory management and demand planning in line with company targets.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years experience in semiconductor sales and marketing, with demonstrated leadership responsibility.
- Proven track record in developing and executing sales strategies in the semiconductor industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills in a multi-cultural environment.
- High proficiency in Japanese (spoken and written), required for direct reporting and collaboration with Japan Headquarters.
