Our client is a global system provider specializing inindustrial electrification. Headquartered in Germany, they have a significant presence in global markets, including Southeast Asia. The company's technology is the backbone for major operations in logistics, heavy manufacturing, and specialized transport. They maintain a robust global network, with a particular focus on scaling their footprint within high-growth markets. They are currently seeking a strategic leader to spearhead their commercial and operational expansion across the Southeast Asia region
Responsibilities:
- Achievement of revenue, EBIT, and growth targets
- Quarterly presentation of company strategy and target achievement
- Compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
- Ensuring employee competencies and satisfaction
Tasks
- Market Development: Develop a local market strategy aligned with the global strategy, including clear prioritization of segments, regions, and go-to-market approaches (development of new business relationships and identification /prioritization of market potentials)
- Business and Growth Strategy: Responsibility for a multi-year business and investment plan (growth, organization, partners, resources), active customer management, acting as the primary point of contact for key customers
- General Management: Leadership, target setting, coaching, and development of the local team; recruitment of new employees as required
- Active Competitive and Market Analysis: To sharpen local market positioning
- Expansion of Existing Customer Base: Systematic development of existing customer relationships (cross-/upselling, rollouts across multiple sites)
- Sales Growth: Pipeline & Forecasting by managing opportunities quotes, Ownership of opportunities, quotations, projects, and contacts in Salesforce/SAP; preparation of reliable forecasts
- P&L Responsibility: Management of revenue, margin, and OPEX; definition of pricing, commercial terms, and profitability
- Go-to-Market: Execution of local campaigns, participation in events and associations, and development of a partner/channel network (distributors, system integrators),
- Serving multiple countries, including Taiwan, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, and the Philippines
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Close cooperation with HQ (Product Management, Marketing, Operations, Finance, etc) as well as with the CSO and Regional Leader.
- Reporting: Structured reporting on pipeline, wins/losses, competition, risks, and action plans
Your Profile
- University degree in business administration or engineering
- More than 10 Years of professional experience in technical sales, ideally in an international environment
- Several years of leadership experience with P&L responsibility
- Knowledge of Lean Management, KPI control, and budget planning
- Experience with SAP and Salesforce is an advantage
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, cultural skills
- Business-fluent English and Chinese skills, further regional languages as well as German skills are an advantage
