JOB DESCRIPTION:
Department: General Manager, Regional Product Marketing (MES SPR210M)
Reports to: Director, ASEAN + INDIA Regional Sales & Marketing
Functional Relationships with: India sales team and product marketing, regional functional divisions (Planning, New Business, SCM) sales divisions, and Japan/global sales & marketing, Product Business Units.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- As regional division head of a key counterpart function to Japan & global Product BUs, be responsible to lead the RMC team to create, drive regional product promotion strategies to generate target opportunities and achieve the products design win targets, maximizing current and future business opportunities through product positionings and innovation.
- Owner to lead regional Application Cross Functional Teams (CFTs) to drive Application Marketing in the Asean, India and Oceania region, linking to global contribution.
- Owner for regional TIGER (Semi-conductor) CFT, spearhead the regional TIGER initiatives, focusing on deep technical collaboration with IC partners to secure Murata's business through linking regional initiatives to global, building a strong regional team.
- Lead and manage local operations of product and application engineering activities, enabling new value creation through innovation.
- Through developing application marketing and product marketing strategies, contribute to existing Product Division BUs product roadmap and cultivate future positioning and new business working with internal & external stakeholders.
- Bridge Murata's current products (all Product Divisions) with partner's technologies to grow current, future business through research institutes and technology partner organizations.
- Groom and develop the competencies of local Application, product Engineers, specialists and future local leadership pipelines for strategic succession.
Ability/Competency Required:
- Bachelor's degree in any engineering field.
- At least 8 years of experiences in engineering/ marketing in Semiconductor company, original equipment manufacturers, Electronics components manufacturers, design service company or incubator/accelerator.
- Good Market Knowledge of the electronics market including start ups, universities.
- Competencies in Product marketing strategy, application marketing strategy.
- Minimum 5 years experiences in managing a team.
- Good mentoring skills and team building.
- Excellent Problem solving, communication and organizational skills.
- Good presentation skills.
- Ability to anticipate future needs of customers and engage constructively with them about these needs.
- Excellent analytical skills in pulling together relevant information to forecast market developments in complex markets.
- Available for 30% domestic travel in India.
