We are an established engineering company specializing in the design, manufacture, and integration of Electrical, Control, and instrumentation panels for industrial and process automation applications. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to lead out day-to-day operations and drive the company's continued growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseas the daily operations of the company, ensuring efficient execution of projects and business activities.
- Lead and manage engineering , project management, procurement, production, quality assurance, and administrative functions.
- Plan, Monitor, and control project schedules, budgets, quality, and resource allocation.
- Develop and implement business strategies to improve operational efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers and key stakeholders.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing management and engineering team.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations and relevant statutory and safety regulations.
- Support business development initiatives, tender reviews, contract negotiations, and strategic planning.
- Report directly to the Managing Director and provide regular updates on business performance and operational matters.
Requirements:
Academic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related Engineering Discipline.
Experience
- Minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in project management, engineering, or operations within the electrical, instrumentation, control systems or panel integration industry
- Proven experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing day-to day business operations.
- Strong leadership, people management, and decision-making capabilities.
- Experience in managing multiple engineering projects from proposal through commissioning.
- Good commercial acumen with knowledge of project costing, budgeting and contract administration.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Attributes
- Strong understanding of electrical and control panel design , manufacturing, testing, and system integration.
- Familiarity with PLC, SCADA, Instrumentation, and industrial automation projects will be an advantage
- Self-driven, results-oriented, and capable of working in a fat paced environment,
- Ability to establish and improve operation processes while maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.
