Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic and Operational Management

  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and profitability.
  • Oversee all construction operations including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Identify new business opportunities and client relationships.

Project Oversight

  • Monitor ongoing projects to ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and contractors.
  • Resolve project-related issues promptly and efficiently.

Financial Management

  • Develop and manage annual budgets and financial plans.
  • Analyze financial reports to monitor performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • Approve large expenditures and manage contract negotiations.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams including project managers, engineers, administrative staff, and field personnel.
  • Recruit, train, and retain talent.
  • Foster a positive company culture focused on safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Client & Stakeholder Relations

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients and stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and service delivery.
  • Manage contract discussions, negotiations, and dispute resolutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, codes, and safety regulations.
  • Proven leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in construction management software and project scheduling tools.
