Key Responsibilities:
Strategic and Operational Management
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and profitability.
- Oversee all construction operations including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and project execution.
- Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Identify new business opportunities and client relationships.
Project Oversight
- Monitor ongoing projects to ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and contractors.
- Resolve project-related issues promptly and efficiently.
Financial Management
- Develop and manage annual budgets and financial plans.
- Analyze financial reports to monitor performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Approve large expenditures and manage contract negotiations.
Team Leadership
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams including project managers, engineers, administrative staff, and field personnel.
- Recruit, train, and retain talent.
- Foster a positive company culture focused on safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Client & Stakeholder Relations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients and stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and service delivery.
- Manage contract discussions, negotiations, and dispute resolutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, codes, and safety regulations.
- Proven leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in construction management software and project scheduling tools.
