Position Summary
The General Manager will be responsible for the strategic leadership and operational management of the company's core areas: clinic outlets, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and import/export activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmaceutical business operations, compliance, and cross-functional team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
1. Clinic Outlet Management
- Oversee daily operations and strategic planning of multiple pharmacy and clinic outlets.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and internal standards.
- Lead initiatives to improve patient experience, service quality, and revenue growth.
- Coordinate with medical professionals, pharmacists, and support staff.
2. Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
- Manage the setup and operational activities of the pharmaceutical factory.
- Ensure adherence to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and other industry standards.
- Supervise production schedules, quality control, procurement, and logistics.
- Oversee licensing, regulatory inspections, and facility certifications.
3. Import & Export Operations
- Handle the end-to-end process of importing and exporting pharmaceutical products.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and drug control laws.
- Develop relationships with global suppliers, distributors, and regulatory authorities.
- Manage documentation, customs clearance, and inventory flow.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in pharmaceutical operations, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations, manufacturing standards, and trade laws.
- Proven experience in managing multi-site operations and cross-functional teams.
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with ERP systems and pharmaceutical software.
- Strong negotiation, budgeting, and supply chain management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in startup or expansion-phase operations is a plus.
