We are seeking a seasoned leader to head a food manufacturing division, with full accountability across operations, commercial performance, and team leadership. This role will steer end-to-end functions including kitchen production, supply chain, quality assurance, and financial outcomes, while driving operational excellence and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Shape and execute business strategies aligned with overall organisational direction
- Lead the full spectrum of operations, including production, procurement, logistics, and customer delivery
- Drive revenue growth while maintaining strong cost discipline across all functions
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, ensuring strong profitability and financial governance
- Monitor industry developments and identify opportunities for expansion, innovation, and new revenue streams
- Build and manage strategic relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and clients
- Champion digitalisation and process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and scalability
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and regulatory requirements, working closely with quality teams to uphold compliance standards
- Maintain high standards of operational discipline across all production facilities
- Strengthen service delivery frameworks and foster a culture of service excellence
- Lead, develop, and inspire a large and diverse workforce, covering workforce planning, performance management, and capability building
- Optimise manpower deployment in line with operational needs while maintaining cost efficiency
- Partner with HR to drive employee engagement, retention, and leadership development initiatives
Requirements
- Degree in Business, Food Manufacturing or a related discipline
- At least 15 years of experience in food manufacturing or central kitchen operations, with significant track records and time in a senior leadership capacity
- Demonstrated success in managing full P&L and driving business performance
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and regulatory compliance
- Experience in operational excellence frameworks such as Lean or continuous improvement methodologies
