Job Description

Position Summary

The Fleet Support Division Manager (FSD) is responsible for leading and managing the Fleet Support Division, including the Fleet Support Group and the Newbuilding Group, to ensure efficient, compliant, and cost-effective support for vessel management operations.

The role supports the General Manager in achieving the company's strategic objectives by overseeing procurement, financial control, project coordination, and operational support functions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Division Management and Strategy

l Support the General Manager in establishing and implementing the division's strategic direction in line with the company's policies and long-term objectives.

l Oversee the overall management and performance of the Fleet Support Division.

2. Procurement and Vendor Management

l Supervise procurement and supply activities to ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and quality standards.

l Maintain effective relationships with key suppliers, manufacturers, and service providers.

3. Financial and Payment Control

l Oversee invoice verification and payment processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely settlement.

l Monitor procurement-related financial data and support cost control initiatives.

4. Newbuilding Project Support

l Oversee the activities of the Newbuilding Group and monitor the progress of new building projects.

l Support supervision and coordination activities to ensure the timely and successful delivery of vessels.

5. Compliance, Risk and Quality Management

l Ensure that all division activities comply with company policies, audit requirements, and applicable regulations.

l Identify and manage operational risks and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented.

6. Leadership and Staff Development

l Lead, develop, and motivate division staff to maintain a high level of professional performance.

l Support staff training and development programs in cooperation with other Division Managers and management.

7. Stakeholder Coordination and Reporting

l Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders, including K-LINE headquarters, to ensure smooth operational support.

l Review operational data and incident reports and support corrective actions to improve safety, efficiency, and compliance.
