Job Description

Job Scope:

. Lead and oversee the overall business operations, project execution, and strategic development of the company's construction activities.

. Manage multiple construction projects from planning to completion, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, quality standards, and compliance with contractual requirements.

. Develop and implement operational strategies, project management frameworks, and business improvement initiatives to enhance organizational performance and profitability.

. Oversee project planning, budgeting, procurement, resource allocation, and cost control to ensure efficient project execution.

. Review and manage tender submissions, contracts, variation orders, project claims, and related commercial matters.

. Coordinate and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities.

. Provide leadership and guidance to project managers, engineers, construction supervisors, and operational teams to ensure smooth project operations.

. Monitor project schedules, manpower planning, material utilization, and operational performance across multiple projects.

. Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, quality standards, and statutory requirements.

. Identify operational risks and implement appropriate preventive and corrective measures.

. Lead project meetings, resolve operational and technical issues, and support decision-making processes.

. Prepare management reports, operational updates, project performance reviews, and business presentations for senior management.

. Support business development initiatives, client engagement, and company growth strategies.

. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, operational efficiency, and project delivery standards.

. Ensure effective coordination between departments to achieve organizational and project objectives.

. Mentor and develop management and operational teams to strengthen leadership capabilities and workforce competency.

. Report directly to the Managing Director on operational and project performance matters.

Job Requirements:

. Minimum 20 years of relevant working experience in the construction industry.

. At least 10 years of experience in a senior management or leadership role.

. Proven experience in managing large-scale construction or infrastructure or industrial projects.

. Strong knowledge of construction operations, project management, budgeting, cost control, procurement, and contract administration.

. Familiar with construction regulations, industry standards, and workplace safety requirements.

. Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

. Ability to manage multiple projects and operational teams simultaneously.

. Strong project planning, coordination, and operational management capabilities.

. Proficient in project management systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications..

. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

. Strong business acumen and operational management experience.

. Self-driven, responsible, and capable of leading teams independently.

. Good negotiation and client management skills.

. Able to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

. Willing to travel to project sites when required.

. 6-day work week.
