Oversee the day-to-day operations of designated business functions and ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Company's operations.
Develop, implement, and monitor management policies, business strategies, and operational plans in alignment with the Company's objectives and corporate governance requirements.
Lead and supervise department heads, providing direction, guidance, and performance management to achieve business goals.
Consolidate, review, and analyze the Company's monthly financial and operational performance, and prepare management reports for the head office in Japan.
Coordinate and implement corporate policies, compliance requirements, and strategic initiatives mandated by the head office, ensuring alignment with group standards and objectives.
Lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous enhancement of corporate systems and digital platforms deployed globally by the head office.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial performance management, including the review and approval of departmental budgets and expenditures within delegated authority.
Lead the Company's safety, quality, health, and environmental (SQHE) management programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, business partners, suppliers, government authorities, and other key stakeholders.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and market expansion initiatives to support sustainable business growth.
Drive organizational excellence through process improvement, operational efficiency, innovation, and change management initiatives.
Lead talent development, succession planning, employee engagement, and organizational capability-building programs.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Represent the Company in dealings with customers, business partners, industry associations, and regional stakeholders.
Requirements:
Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Logistics, or a related discipline.
At least 10 years of managerial experience, including experience in a senior leadership position.
Strong knowledge of corporate governance, financial management, business planning, operational management and logistics industry.
Proven experience in managing multinational business operations in logistics and working with regional or global headquarters.
Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
Fluency in both English and Japanese (spoken and written) is required to communicate effectively with the Company's head office, customers, business partners, and stakeholders in Japan.
