Key Responsibilities
- Maintain full set of accounts including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and adjustments
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
- Prepare bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Ensure accuracy of balance sheet schedules and supporting documents
- Prepare monthly financial reports including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
- Monitor and reconcile inter-company transactions
- Maintain proper accounting documentation and filing
- Assist in GST submission and tax schedules preparation
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and relevant authorities
- Support annual audit and ensure timely audit completion
- Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and company policies
- Perform ad-hoc finance duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
- Minimum 2-5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Experience in handling full set of accounts
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and month-end closing process
- Familiar with Singapore GST, IRAS requirements, and audit procedures
- Proficient in accounting systems (e.g. Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
